Nowadays a simple gathering is already considered a party. Regardless of places, dresses or the number of people involve.
But how many kinds of parties out there do you know? Are you attending a party without you knowing it? I have outlined some examples of parties that might help you identify on what kind of gathering are into.
Bachelor Party
Usually happens whenever a guy is scheduled to be married. Bachelor Parties are mostly consists of guys only. This party is being held to wish the guys to be married a good luck and as a way to say goodbye on being a bachelor, where they celebrate it via drinking, sharing some thoughts or by doing something funny to the groom-to-be.
Outdoor party
Outdoor party is obviously held in the outdoors as the name of the party implies. Such parties takes place in beaches, zoo, backyard, riverside or other people’s garden. To give you a picture of the party, friends gather around a bonfire where they talk, sing or having a drink.
Dinner Party
Dinner Party is somehow a formal kind of party or gathering. In this event, the host or the owner of the house would invite people and have dinner together where they talk about business, events or other agenda of the said event.
Bridal shower
Much like the Bachelor party, but this time it is mostly consist of ladies. Where they talked and give tips to the bride-to-be about their experiences on marriage, what to do during pregnancy and other girl stuff.
Housewarming Party
Housewarming party often occurs whenever a new house is built, or if someone moved to a new apartment or house. This is to welcome new neighbors and for the house to be blessed in order to have peaceful and progressive stay.
As you can see, we tend to do a lot of parties and call it by names, but what’s most important is that we acknowledge the fact that we do need to socialize, reach out and communicate with others to have a more meaningful life. After all, “No man is an island”.
